So I should be on a plane just like the one pictured right now. I had my suitcase all packed, my carry-on liquids in the ziplock bag, my computer, and all the information I needed to write some reports, and most of all I had my swimsuit.
I should be in Arizona in the next couple of hours, soaking up the rays and most importantly helping one of my best friends celebrate her wedding.
Megan and I have known each other since our freshman year, we were roommates the next, then life got a little crazy. Now fastfoward to now: she is marrying a great guy named Lance, who happened to be the former roommate of my husband, Reza. We both are super excited for them, and pumped to be able to go to their wedding.
Now the most frustrating part of this whole deal, is American never notified me that my first flight was canceled, so when I called them they rebooked me on a later flight, which apparently got canceled as well. I am now leaving tomorrow morning, on US Airways.
So Dear American Airlines,
You have lost a customer, and I hope your stock keeps dropping.
Love,
Christy Ghazimoradi
PS. Maybe your automated lady on the phone should figure out how to understand non-American sounding names.
Oh and for the record, I do have the worst luck ever. I lose my luggage 75% of the time, and can't remember the last time I was on a non-delayed flight. But I am going to think positive, and I will get to AZ if it kills me. I am also not going to work or school today in protest of my delayed vacation.
