FYI

So I had to start work again last week. When Hal woke up at 4 am to eat, I did a little research using my trust Blackberry.

Only 4 countries do not mandate ANY maternity/parental leave. Can you guess what country may be in that 4? Over 100 give you 10 or more PAID weeks. I plan on moving for baby two. Sweden is the best option with 16 MONTHS of paid leave, with a minimum of 2 of those months being for the Dad! The UN also has a pretty great program.

So Tough

Mostly cause I think this a sweet outfit. Reza is pretty excited he is wearing his Air Jordan socks...a first of many pairs of Air Jordan's I am sure.

Blessed

So it's Mother's Day. I guess technically my first. But more exciting to me then yoga pants and a pass to a Mommy & Me yoga class is the fact that Hal was blessed during church today.

We are blessed that my Mom, Dad and brother Tanner were able to come from Atlanta and Ohio,
We are blessed that Reza's mom, sister and niece Farrah came from Bakersfield.
We are blessed to be the parents of Hal Donavon.

Yes, Hal and Reza are both wearing Seersucker Suits. Awesome.

My Alma Mater (well one of them...)

Pretty awesome.

Requested

This is Jack, he came to visit and brought his parents Mark and Stacy with him. Hal was jealous of his ability to sit up.
Who knows?
At the Bell Tower at Iwo Jima.
Waking up.
