More Visitors

My dad came to town for business and stayed a couple extra days to play with us! We ate out a lot, which is a great thing to do in DC because there are a ton of awesome restaurants (no Chili's for us!). We ate cheap, fresh sushi and Kotobuki, crab cakes at Black Salt, (Kotobuki and Black Salt are both on the same block we live on) fresh fish at the Southwest Waterfront and pizza at Pete's Apizza. We also ventured down to the National Harbor where Hal had an itchy head that we got scratched for him and we visited the Peep's store: M&M's eat your heart out. Visitors

Reza's dad, brother and sister all came to DC for the week. When they weren't busy exploring the whole city, they loved playing with Hal. For the record, playing Apples to Apples with Abbas was the highlight of the trip! :) Thanks for coming!

Yes, flip-flops for 3 month olds are completely gratuitous, but aunts are allowed to buy such things. Aren't they ADORABLE!

Maddy loved the baby. Frequently calling out "baby! baby!" She enjoyed jumping on the bed while he was sleeping in it, tickling his feet while he ate, holding him tightly around the neck. However, her most useful trick was going to get his diapers. She will be a great big sis someday.

So my parents like live in this great golf course community in the what feels like rural Georgia. The house is amazing, and I guess I will get used to not going to Ohio. Although I miss it.
