So early in the week I was listening to the radio and heard them say that David Archuletta would be singing the National Anthem at the Upper Arlington vs. Dublin Coffman high school football game Friday.
I wanted to go.
It was pouring down rain, 50 degrees.
Reza's job is lame, so he wasn't able to meet me at the game.
I sat by myself in the rain at an away high school football game, to which I really have no connection.
But....I have new rain boots.
And hearing Archie sing live.....gave me chills.
So it was worth it.
And the Bears won!

i can't believe you went to the game! was it crowded? everyone was talking about it at work. I am way impressed that you went.
It's too bad Reza had to "work," I bet he was devastated.
Perhaps this is the definition of insanity - going to a cold freezing rainy game to listen to a 16 year old singer!
haha...i can picture you now. I love it!
Yay for new rain boots!
PICTURE! PICTURE! PICTURE!
(AKA-please create a post especially for these little wonders)
I wish you would have told me, I could have gone with you so you wouldn't have sat by yourself!
